| At Saratoga Junior Golf, safety is our top priority! Because of the nature of the Game, accidents can happen very quickly, with the potential for serious injury. Parents, please review the following safety guidelines with your child, prior to participating in any golf activities, whether at the course, practice range, or in the backyard.
"Golf clubs and golf balls have the potential to become lethal weapons when used in an unsafe manner. To avoid the possibility of serious injury or death, please familiarize yourself and your child with the following safety guidelines"

1.) Always use the STOP - LOOK - SWING checklist before swinging any golf club. Be sure the area around you and in front of you is clear before swinging.
2.) Never swing a golf club in a group setting.
3.) Hold the club at the clubhead end, when the instructor is demonstrating or speaking to the class.
4.) Never stand in the target line of other students swinging clubs. The club could slip out of their hands, the clubhead could come off or you could be struck by a ball.
5.) Never go in front of an established hitting line.
6.) Swing the club only in designated areas and when all other students are in safe positions.
